Second Major in Public Health

As the Second Major in Public Health is a restricted programme, students interested in this programme will need to complete the application process.

All applicants MUST complete an online application prior to applying via Academic Plan Application and Declaration (APAD) in myEduRec, to be considered for admissions to the Second Major in Public Health for Semester 1 AY2024/2025. The outcome of the application will only be made known by mid-June 2024.

For students to be considered for the Second Major in Public Health, they should at least fulfil the minimum admission requirements stated below. Meeting the minimum requirements does not imply an automatic admission into the Second Major in Public Health programme.

Applicants must:

• Have a GPA of 3.50 or higher
• Be in the 4th semester of study or earlier, at the point of application
• Completed or completing at least 12 units of the requirements of the Minor in Public Health, at the point of application

Please take note of the instructions for the online application below:

1. The online application will take place from 11 March to 10 April 2024. Requests to extend the application period will not be entertained.
2. Prepare a copy of the academic transcript for Semester 1 AY2023/2024 (in PDF format only) prior to the application. This document is compulsory.
3. Upon completion of the online application, do download a PDF copy of the application for reference. A confirmation email will be sent after the completion of the application; keep this for reference as well.
