We are delighted to share that Dean, Prof Teo Yik Ying and Ms Chen Po Jan have been recognised in the National Day Awards 2026 for their excellence, dedication and service to the nation.
Presented annually, the National Day Awards honour individuals who have made significant contributions to Singapore through public service, education, social and community work, demonstrating excellence in their respective fields.
Dean, Prof Teo Yik Ying, has been awarded the Long Service Medal. Instituted in 1962, the medal honours individuals of irreproachable character who have completed at least 25 years of service. This award recognises Prof Teo’s longstanding dedication and contributions to education and public health.
Ms Chen Po Jan, Director of Finance, has been awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze). Instituted in 1963, the medal recognises outstanding efficiency, competence and industry among individuals serving in the public sector, statutory bodies and organisations providing services in education.
