Graduate Diploma in Public Health

The need to train and equip public health practitioners at the programme implementation level with the right set of knowledge and skills to support national initiatives, such as “War on Diabetes” and “Healthier SG”, is increasingly important.  The Graduate Diploma in Public Health (GDPH) programme aims to support the evolving needs of our nation’s healthcare landscape.

The GDPH is a programme designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of public health. It provides a foundational knowledge of public health concepts and practices, as well as an appreciation of the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in promoting health and preventing disease.

The interdisciplinary nature of public health means that it intersects with many other fields, including healthcare, social services, education, data science, and the environment. Professionals in these fields can benefit from an understanding of public health principles and practices to integrate public health considerations more effectively into their work and make a greater impact on the health and well-being of their clients and communities.
