On 11 March 2026, Dr Kiesha Prem, Programme Lead of the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH) Lao Programme, together with Ms Joanna Pee, Secretary at the Singapore Embassy in Vientiane, met with the President of the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Dr Mayfong Mayxay and his team of deans and vice dean to explore potential areas of collaboration. The discussion focused on opportunities in research partnerships, academic exchange, and capacity building. Both sides shared strong enthusiasm for working together and agreed to begin preparations for the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). We look forward to building a meaningful partnership together.
