We are proud to welcome our inaugural cohort of Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) students, as you begin your academic and professional journey with us.
As healthcare systems face mounting pressure from an ageing population, the rising prevalence of chronic diseases, and emerging infectious diseases, the need for advanced public health leadership has never been greater. In response to this growing demand, the DrPH was developed as a professional doctorate for experienced practitioners, with a strong emphasis on leadership, systems-level change, and the practical application of knowledge to achieve meaningful and sustained impact. Guided by our esteemed faculty members Assoc Prof Natasha Howard, Assoc Prof Piya Hanvoravongchai, Adjunct Assoc Prof Ng Yuek Fan, Adjunct Assoc Prof Matthias Toh, and Adjunct Assoc Prof Chew Ling, the DrPH cohort will be supported in developing the leadership capabilities needed to drive impact in Singapore and beyond.
