Zoe Jane-Lara HILDON

Dr. Zoe Jane-Lara Hildon is a sociologist, interdisciplinary researcher, and social behaviour change (SBC) practitioner.
She has over 20 years of international experience enhancing health through evidence-based program and policy development and implementation for health services quality improvement and community health promotion. Her achievements in these areas are built on expertise in theory-based qualitative and mixed methods research, implementation science, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
Dr. Hildon’s work spans Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including ministries, local implementing agencies, and communities through participatory approaches. Her global health portfolio includes working in various parts of Africa, such as Senegal, Mozambique, and Tanzania, and organizational capacity development for M&E in Rwanda and Nepal.
Her work has covered topics ranging from infectious disease control and prevention, antimicrobial resistance, maternal and child health, and family planning, including large-scale national multi-behavioural projects and cross-institutional awards
