MOHAMAD NIZAR Bin Zainal

Nizar joins the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health as an educator with over a decade of teaching experience and two decades of clinical experience as an occupational therapist. His research interests integrate disability, rehabilitation, health services, and public health with a goal of improving the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of health interventions to address the needs of diverse populations. Through his work, Nizar seeks to raise awareness of the experiences and needs of people with disabilities while advocating for more equitable, accessible, and inclusive health systems, services, and communities. Outside of work, Nizar enjoys traveling to lesser-known destinations, appreciating unique natural phenomena, or simply slowing down with a good book.
