PhD student Rayner Tan joins editorial board of Sexually Transmitted Infections journal

The School is pleased to share that PhD student Mr Rayner Tan is now on the editorial board of the prestigious journal, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI). He joins as part of the editorial team for its new series, Perspectives. Our warmest congratulations, Mr Tan!

Perspectives is a new section of STI targeted toward clinicians and translational researchers. Each Perspectives issue identifies interesting articles and proposes the implications of each article for current or near-future clinical practice. Aimed to be a quick and informative read, Perspectives will be published for open access, with eight issues scheduled throughout the year. The first issue is accessible here.

“I feel very privileged to be working alongside and mentored by eminent researchers in the field of sexually transmitted infections and sexual health. I hope that as the only editorial board member based out of Southeast Asia, I will be able to contribute perspectives on research originating from the region, as well as from my background in the social sciences,” said Mr Tan.

Sexually Transmitted Infections is the world’s longest running international journal on sexual health, and aims to keep practitioners, trainees and researchers up to date in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all STIs and HIV.
