Kinship Collective

About Us

Community-activated green spaces
Networked community gardens

A locally grown experiment in food, friendship, health, and futures.

Emerging from the SAGE journey, Kinship Collective connects the dots between food, ageing, health and community resilience. We’re a network of seniors, growers, cooks, educators and neighbourhood allies reimagining what it means to cultivate healthy and connected local food systems — together.

We’re piloting small-scale systems change: turning loneliness into community cooking clubs, food waste into composting collectives, dormant spaces into edible gardens, and food ideas into micro-jobs with purpose. From regenerative gardens to school food programmes and intergenerational kitchens, we’re growing spaces that nourish people, place, and planet — one shared food experience at a time.
