Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research (HIPER)
About Us
We are a research unit trying to build Health Technology Assessment (HTA) capacity in developing countries through a range of activities, including consulting services and advisory work, development of software tools to support HTA research, education, and networking at domestic and international levels. We believe that better evidence can be generated only through better research capacity. Eventually, these evidence will empower decision-making, resulting in sustainable health systems.
Expertise and Services
HIPER’s areas of expertise include Health Technology Assessment, Health Economics, Health Services Research and Global Health.
We seek to foster cross-organisational and cross-country knowledge sharing and discussion on HTA. We also organise trainings and events to build HTA capacity and provide service advice and research to governments, global funders, NGOs and other stakeholder organisations. These are done through:
- Knowledge Transfer: Hosting Delegations, Speaker Engagements
- Capacity Building: Trainings, Symposiums, Events
- Service Advice and Research: Evaluations, Consulting
