YI Siyan
Dr. Yi’s passion for global health research and policy in low- and middle-income countries stems from a deep commitment to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable populations. His work focuses on translating rigorous epidemiologic and implementation research into practical strategies that strengthen health systems and inform policy. Collaborating closely with communities and Ministries of Health across Southeast Asia, he has seen how context-specific, evidence-based interventions can transform health outcomes in resource-limited settings. He is particularly inspired by the potential of implementation research to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, and remains dedicated to advancing sustainable, equitable health policies that ensure effective interventions reach those who need them most.
