Pami Shrestha
Pami Shrestha has a medical background as dentist, and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Liverpool. She is a qualitative researcher who has been actively involved in qualitative and mixed method research particularly in studies of Antimicrobial Resistance, Non-Communicable disease, Healthcare collaborations, Healthcare policy and evaluation of Healthcare programmes.
Currently she is the programme manager for The NUS-Lancet Pandemic Readiness, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation (PRIME) Commission. This Commission aims to reimagine how pandemic preparedness, prevention and response are conceptualised and measured in a meaningful way to help prepare for and respond to highly infectious pathogens. The NUS-Lancet PRIME Commission will establish an independent monitoring and evaluation mechanism that monitors and evaluates countries’ preparedness, prevention, and response to pandemics by expanding our conceptualisation of global health security.
