MÜLLER Andre Matthias
Health and well-being are mainly impacted by what we do and whether we have what it takes to be healthy and well. Think about your behaviors and how they are shaped by your education, home and neighborhood, social networks, and the infrastructure around you. These factors profoundly influence your health, with research showing that up to 80% of health outcomes are dictated by elements beyond our immediate control. To truly promote health, we must implement good policies, create supportive environments, and develop empowering programs.
As an educator and researcher at SSHSPH, I am dedicated to helping others see this reality and consider how we can enable people to be healthy and well. I aim to inspire and equip future public health practitioners, the next generation of healthcare professionals, and fellow academics to embrace this holistic perspective. Together, we can build a healthier, more equitable world.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, practicing my Singlish, indulging in spicy food, and spending quality time with my family. You will often find me in shorts and flip-flops, sipping kopi at a local shop.
