Research Fellow

LOWE Thomas Aaron

I am a Research Fellow working within the SAGE project, headed by Dr Zoe Hildon at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. Much of my research expertise revolves around lived experiences, especially of older adults living in the community and in many cases providing informal care for a loved one. My research is largely qualitative in nature and often utilizes arts-based approaches such as graphic elicitation. Throughout my education and research, I have conducted research in the UK, India, Ethiopia and Hong Kong. I am also an active academic citizen, acting as a peer reviewer for several journals and also acting as an editor for the journal ‘Postgraduate Pedagogies’. I am also a committee member for the Geographies of Health and Wellbeing Research Group at the Royal Geographical Society.
