LIOW Chee Hsiang
Associate Professor Liow Chee Hsiang is a medical doctor with over 14 years of experience working in south-west China, where he oversaw approximately 20 public and global health initiatives. These included village doctor training, medical and dental clinics, HIV prevention and care, leprosy programmes, disaster relief, and physical rehabilitation for children with autism and cerebral palsy. He has also been involved in multiple global health programmes and evaluations across the Greater Mekong Sub-region and Southeast Asia.
Chee Hsiang is currently Vice Dean (Education) at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. He teaches global health and programme design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation (DIME) at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has delivered DIME training to numerous social service agencies and healthcare institutions and is actively involved in the design and evaluation of programmes across Singapore and the region.
