KOH Soo Quee David
“Every year unnecessary suffering and deaths from hazardous work exposures occur among the 3 billion workers in the world. Yet basic occupational health services, which seeks to prevent occupational and work-related diseases and deaths, only cover about 15% of all workers in the world.
Much more can be done in terms of prioritization, resource allocation, multisectoral collaboration and integration, training of the health workforce, occupational health policy and research in occupational health.
David Koh and his colleagues in the SSHSPH work to try and address occupational health research and training needs of health professionals and workers in Asia and beyond.”
