KALHAN Tosha Ashish

Tosha Ashish Kalhan is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. She is a dentist by training with more than 6 years of experience in clinical practice and has research interests in the areas of cardiometabolic diseases and integration of oral-general healthcare. During her MSc and PhD programs at NUS (2015-2021), her research work focused on investigating potential links between oral conditions (such as dental caries) and systemic conditions such as atopic dermatitis, gestational diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular risk in young children. Currently, her work at SSHSPH is primarily focused on Type 2 diabetes and its related complications involving large-scale cohort studies.
