HESSE, Henrik

Henrik specializes in aerial robotics, autonomous drones, and novel unmanned systems. He has 14+ years of experience advancing deployable autonomous systems – from theoretical foundations to field-tested robotics. For his work as Adjunct Associate Professor with the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, Henrik works with the team from the Climate, Environment and Health Programme to develop drone solutions for environmental monitoring and surveying. He co-leads Project FireFly which aims to develop sensor solutions for automated wildfire monitoring and prevention in South-East Asia.

As Associate Professor and Programme Director for Aerospace Engineering at the University of Glasgow Singapore, Henrik manages the Aerospace Division in Singapore.
