Serene Goh Si Ning

Adjunct Senior Lecturer (Joint)

GOH Serene Si Ning

I am a breast surgical oncologist at the National University Hospital, lecturer at the National University of Singapore, and PhD candidate at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. My goal is to improve breast cancer care, beginning with prevention and extending through early detection, treatment, and survivorship. My research integrates artificial intelligence (AI), randomized controlled trials, multi-reader multicentre studies, cost-effectiveness modelling, and mixed-method analyses to evaluate and safely implement new technologies. I collaborate with industry partners and hold patents for equipment designed to enhance diagnosis and surgical safety. As a lecturer, I mentor medical students and surgical trainees. I also enjoy tennis and swimming, which keep me balanced. Long term, I aim to influence health policy to enable equitable, data-driven cancer care across Asia Pacific.
