Lao PDR–Singapore COVID-19 Public Health Webinar

Date:

Monday, 27 July 2020

Time:

12.30pm – 2.00pm (SGT)  |  1.30pm – 3.00pm (ICT)

Synopsis:

The COVID-19 pandemic is the biggest infectious disease public health challenge that the world has faced in over a century. Lao PDR and Singapore are Asian countries at different stages of development and with differing cultures, but both share relative success at containing COVID-19. Continuing success is not guaranteed however, as has been seen in different territories and countries such as Hong Kong and Australia.

This seminar provides a platform for academic sharing of the public health experiences of both countries during the first half year of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to explore opportunities for working together in the future.
