The School is pleased to announce the appointment of Associate Professor Adeline Seow as the new leader of the Epidemiology domain, effective 1 June 2024. In this pivotal role, she will oversee the domain’s teaching and research capabilities, collaborating closely with the School’s leadership and faculty to further expand the scope as well as elevate the quality and vitality of its activities.
Associate Professor Seow has a strong leadership track record and has made exceptional contributions to the University and the School. She played an instrumental role in establishing and directing the School’s flagship Master of Public Health (MPH) programme before being seconded to set up and run the College of Alice & Peter Tan (CAPT) as its founding Master in 2011.
With her research focus on cancer epidemiology and prevention, she has also contributed significantly to the teaching of undergraduate modules in evidence-based medicine and disease prevention. The School is deeply grateful to Associate Professor Seow for stepping up to lead the Epidemiology domain.
