Getting Here
By Train
Estimated walking time: 10 minutes
- Alight at Kent Ridge MRT (Circle Line)
- From Exit A, turn left and walk towards the National University Hospital (NUH) Main Building Lobby B
- Walk past the taxi stand and Main Building, and towards the sheltered walkway straight ahead
- At the end of the walkway, turn left, cross the pedestrian crossing, and walk towards NUH Emergency
- Continue straight, going past NUH Emergency and Kopitiam
- Cross the pedestrian crossing and head straight towards the Centre for Translational Medicine (MD6) Building
- Walk past MD6 reception and turn left
- At the end of the junction, turn right into a narrow alleyway and head up the staircase
- Continue straight until the lift lobby – you have arrived at Level 2 of the Tahir Foundation Building (MD1)
- NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health reception is located at Level 10
By Bus
The following bus services are available near the Tahir Foundation Building (MD1).
Bus Stop: 18079 (Opp NUH) and 18071 (NUH) along Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE)
Bus Service: 97, 197, 198, 963
Bus Stop: 15139 (Opp Kent Ridge Stn) on South Buona Vista Road
Bus Service: 92, 200
Bus Stop: 18221 (NUH) and 18239 (Opp NUH) along Lower Kent Ridge Road

- Walk towards the National University Hospital Main Building Lobby A taxi pick-up area
- Head past the taxi stand and pedestrian crossing until you see the Centre for Translational Medicine (MD6) Building
- Walk past MD6 reception and turn left
- At the end of the junction, turn right into a narrow alleyway and head up the staircase
- Continue straight until the lift lobby – you have arrived at Level 2 of the Tahir Foundation Building (MD1)

By Car or Taxi
From AYE (towards Changi Airport):
- Take Exit 8 to North Buona Vista Road
- Turn right at traffic light on South Buona Vista Road
- Continue straight and turn right onto Lower Kent Ridge Road
- Turn left onto Science Drive 4
From AYE (towards Tuas):
- Take Exit 8 to South Buona Vista Road
- Continue straight to Lower Kent Ridge Road
- Turn left onto Science Drive 4

Please note that there is permanently no road access to MD1 from Science Drive 2. Instead, vehicles should take Science Drive 4 to reach the building.
