MÜLLER Andre Matthias
Trained as a sport scientist in Germany, Dr Andre’s research and teaching focuses on promoting healthy movement behaviours such as physical activity. He has a particular interest in e- & mHealth approaches but is also interested in multilevel strategies. He taught health promotion at the University of Suwon (Korea), obtained his PhD in Exercise Psychology from the University of Malaya (Malaysia), and received post-doctoral training at the University of Southampton (UK) and the National University of Singapore. As a lecturer, Dr Andre hopes to encourage students to become ambassadors for healthy living. He is also keen to conduct meaningful research that leads to population impact in Singapore and beyond. However, life is not just work. In his spare time, Dr Andre enjoys traveling around the globe (every year a new country), eating great spicy local food, practising his Singlish and spending time with his family.
