Health, Safety & Well-being Committee (HSWC)

In line with our mission of ‘Turning Discovery into Healthier Communities’, the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health is committed to ensuring a high standard of health, safety and well-being of its own community of staff, students, visitors and contractors.

Its health, safety and well-being goals are:

  1. To promote Total Workplace Safety and Health
  2. To provide a positive safety, health and environment learning experience and model best practices for student programmes and maintain the highest degree of physical, mental and social well-being of all in SSHSPH

The School’s Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OH&SMS) is established based on the ISO45001:2018 standard. Supporting top management in operationalising our health, safety and well-being goals in the School is the Health, Safety and Well-being Committee (HSWC), which is comprised of representatives from various offices.
