AlumNite 2023 Pre-Commencement Celebrations

More than 150 graduands, alumni, and faculty came together on 5th July for a joyous evening of celebration and reunion at the AlumNite 2023 Pre-Commencement Celebrations held at Amara Singapore.

On this special occasion, our graduands celebrated a key milestone surrounded by their loved ones as they embark on the next chapter of their public health journeys. We were honoured to have Dr Margaret Chan, Emeritus Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Founding Dean of Vanke School of Public Health at Tsinghua University, grace the event as an esteemed alumna (Class of 1985).

The ceremony commenced with an inspiring opening address by Prof Teo Yik Ying, Dean, where he congratulated the graduands for completing their studies, commending their dedication and unwavering commitment to public health. Subsequently, the School also recognised the outstanding academic achievements of our students, as well as the dedication of our student representatives. Prof Teo and A/Prof Liow Chee Hsiang, Vice-Dean of Education, announced the prize recipients of the Dean’s List for the Master of Public Health programme and Graduate Student Research Award amongst others.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the graduands on their well-deserved achievements. May your future be filled with success, fulfillment, and unwavering dedication to improving public health. The future is bright, and we have every confidence in your ability to make a difference!
