Honorary Visiting Professor

LENG Gillian

Gillian Leng has had a long career spanning research, evidence synthesis, management, healthcare and the life sciences.

Gillian trained in medicine at Leeds, worked on clinical trials and epidemiological research in Edinburgh, and was a public health consultant in London.  She was an editor of the Cochrane Collaboration, is a trustee and former chair of the Guidelines International Network. Ten years of Gillian’s early career was spent carrying out research into cardiovascular disease, including running several clinical trials.  More recent research interests include studies of adoption and implementation at King’s College London, demonstrating how to change practice.
