Anne Chu Hin Yee

Visiting Research Fellow

CHU Hin Yee Anne

Anne has expertise in the field of physical activity and sedentary behaviour, focusing on validation of methods (questionnaires and accelerometry-based devices) to improve the measurement of these constructs, evaluation of their connections with physical and mental health, as well as building the evidence to inform public health actions for health promotion interventions. Having trained in epidemiology and public health from SSHSPH, she later applied these skills to her postdoctoral research in assessing women and child health to better understand the early life origins of health.

She currently lives in Basel, Switzerland. On weekends, she would just strap on a backpack and be in the mountains or by beautiful lakes with her husband. Anne is learning German and aiming to have fluent conversations with the locals and understand the ads on YouTube.
