NUS Open House 2024: What You Didn’t Know About Public Health (Online)

When you hear ‘Public Health’ you might immediately think of diseases such as Covid-19. You might imagine people working on ways to prevent infections or detect new outbreaks. Although this is part of what public health is about, there are many other things we do. More and more, we are working on improving the health and well-being of people because we know that health is very much about how people feel. We think about how we can support and enable all people to live happier and healthier lives. And so, when you think about public health, you can think about creating policies, environments and programs that can help people live well.

In our session, you will have the chance to learn about our Public Health programs and how these might open up some interesting career paths for you. And of course, we will try to create some well-being for you on the spot. How we’ll do that you ask? You got to join to find out.
