Giving

Your support and partnership with the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health empowers our students to pursue cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on experiences about health promotion, surveillance, prevention and planning, encourages our faculty to translate research into policies, programmes and practice, and provides the greater community with better access to knowledge and understanding of disease prevention and better health.

Your gifts are hard at work building the future of public health in Singapore and the region—from scholarships and bursaries for the brightest and most deserving albeit financially challenged students to research to outreach programmes in disease prevention and health promotion. Your gift gives us the added advantage and confidence in meeting new needs or opportunities and responding to extraordinary challenges as they arise in our mission to become Asia’s global leader in public health education and training.

With your support, our potential to make a difference is truly boundless.

On behalf of all of us, thank you.

SSHSPH Help-A-Student Fund

SSHSPH Help-A-Student Fund donors help us build bursaries, scholarships as well as funds earmarked for other areas of financial aid for enabling talented, deserving undergraduates and postgraduates, based on merit and financial aid, in their pursuit of public health knowledge and efforts to better serve the community.

Master of Public Health Student Fund

The Master of Public Health Fund provides scholarship support for graduate students in the nationally- and regionally-recognised Master of Public Health (MPH) programme, and enables the programme to recognise outstanding performance. Singapore faces myraid challenges including, rapid ageing, obesity and diabetes both at home and globally.  Now more than ever, the multi-disciplinary, population-based approach of public health is essential for saving lives, promoting health, preventing disease and disability, and improving quality of life.

The School is dependent on the support of our donors and partners to provide merits-based scholarships and needs-based bursaries to many more deserving students who might otherwise, have given up their dreams of pursuing the programme due to financial hardships. Your support enables more MPH students to access the relevant, rigorous and multi-disciplinary Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health training and experiences that build lifelong skills to help them realise their potential as the public health leaders of tomorrow dedicated to serving their communities.

 SSHSPH General Purpose Fund
