Reconnecting With Regional Alumni at ADCOD

Vice Dean (Academic Affairs) Associate Professor Chia Sin Eng (2nd from left) attended the 3rd Meeting on ASEAN Diagnostic Criteria for Occupational Diseases (ADCOD) on 29-30 January 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand. He was joined by several alumni including fellow Singaporean representative Dr Kenneth Choy (MMed (OM) 1996) (3rd from right), Deputy Director at the Occupational Health Department, Occupational Safety and Health Division, Ministry of Manpower.

The ADCOD held its first meeting in Bangkok on 8 July 2014 where delegates from 10 ASEAN countries were committed to formulate the ADCOD as a standard criteria for occupational diseases in ASEAN countries.

The Meeting was chaired by Dr Wilawan Juengprasert (MSc (OM), 1982) (2nd from left), former Director General of the Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Health, Thailand and also an alumna of the School.
