It is my great pleasure to invite you to the Joint International Tropical Medicine Meeting (JITMM) 2026, taking place from 9–11 December 2026 at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok, Thailand.

Under the theme “From Research to Real-World Impact: Strengthening Equitable Tropical Medicine,” JITMM 2026 focuses on translating scientific advances into practical solutions that improve health outcomes for underserved populations, with an emphasis on equity, collaboration, and locally driven approaches.

The scientific programme will cover key areas in tropical medicine, including infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, diagnostics, digital health, and translational research. Cross-cutting themes such as climate change, One Health, urbanisation, and social determinants of health will also be highlighted, alongside implementation science, ethics, and data governance.

The conference will feature engaging sessions led by internationally recognised experts from diverse fields of tropical medicine, together with oral and poster presentations showcasing multidisciplinary research contributed by scientists and students from around the world.
