How To Apply

The University has not engaged any external agencies to undertake graduate student recruitment on its behalf. Candidates interested in our graduate programmes are advised to apply directly to the University and not through any agents. Candidates who apply through agents will not have any added advantage in gaining admission and the University reserves the right to reject such applications without providing a reason.

Online applications for the Year 2019 August intake commences on 17 August 2018 and closes on 19 December 2018. We also provide students with financial support through scholarships, fellowships and other financial aid. Orientation and SPH5001 Foundations of Public Health are likely to be conducted between 26 July 2019 and 2 August 2019. Attendance is compulsory for successful candidates admitting in Academic Year 2019/2020. Absentees are automatically deferred to the following year, without exceptions.

All applicants are required to complete an online Numeracy (1 hour) and Academic Writing Proficiency Test (1.5 hours) between 11 and 13 January 2019.
The online test details will be provided after the online application has closed.

A printed copy of the application summary form and supporting documents are to be submitted to the following address by 15 January 2019:

General Instructions

You must submit a complete application package that includes all of the following:

  1. Application check-list
  2. 2 passport-sized photos
  3. Printed online application summary
  4. Official transcripts and certificates [Transcript Request Form to be submitted to degree issuing institute]
  5. Personal Statement
  6. Curriculum vitae/resume
  7. Standardised test scores (if required)
  8. Copy of passport and/or identity card
  9. Copies of all relevant supporting documents
  10. Proof of payment of application fee/ Application fee
  11. Documentary proof of financial support
  12. 2 Referee reports [Submitted by your referees directly to us via hardcopy or email]

Please note the following:

  • The application form must be completed in English.
  • Non-English supporting documents must be accompanied by a notarised English translation.
  • The originals of submitted documents must be furnished for verification at student registration.
  • All supporting documents photocopied from originals are to be stamped “CERTIFIED TRUE COPYand ENDORSED by a responsible person (e.g. school principal, commanding officer, personnel manager, etc).
  • Applicants found to have given inaccurate or false information will be required to withdraw from the MPH programme.
  • Your full name, as written on page one of the application form, should appear on every document submitted. If any variation in your name appears on any material submitted, please highlight it to us.
